In the spring, many people get the itch to dig in the dirt. Nursery's and plant stores are filled with people looking for something to add a little color to their life. Some are starting veggie gardens for the first time or maybe for the 20th time.
In this blog for April, I will be sharing some plants that you can plant for our pollinators and our bees. So while looking for that perfect plant for your garden, REMEMBER OUR POLLINATORS!!
So these are just a few of the perennials that you can plant in your garden that will attract bees and pollinators to your space. These are also plants that bloom when other spring plants have stopped blooming. It is a good idea to add plants to your garden that bloom at different times through the spring and summer. Many perennials will re-bloom when you cut the dead flowers off the plant (this is called dead heading).
So get out there and dig in the dirt. It is good for the Soul and pollinators will thank you!!
