BEEKEEPING IN THE SUMMER CAN BE VERY GRUELING WORK
I am not one of those beekeepers that go into the hives with no protection. Especially in the HOT summer weather. The bees really do not want any humans messing in their hives at this time of year, which means that they will probably get a bit angry and try to STING you!
So I wear a bee suit with a vale. When it's 90 degrees outside and you are dressing in a bee suit, you can get mighty hot and sweaty!! I tend to do most of my work in the hives in the morning hours. By noon it is way to hot with that bee suit on and the bees really do not want you in their hive anyway.
